Specific information about the website
Information about the internet service provider
This website is located on a server of the German Internet service provider STRATO (STRATO AG, Pascalstrasse 10, 10587 Berlin). STRATO AG operates data centers in Berlin and Karlsruhe.
Every access to this website is registered by the STRATO server and automatically logged. The STRATO server collects and stores the following connection data temporary in log files:
Customer Domain, Anonymized Client IP, Request Line, Timestamp, Status Code, Response Body Size, Referer, Sent by Client, User Agent, Sent by Client, Remote User. A detailed explanation of the Strato log files can be found here on the Strato website.
The data is collected and processed by STRATO, ensuring a smooth use of the website. In addition, STRATO processes and stores the data in order to improve its own services, to detect and prevent attacks, and to provide statistics about website visitors. Thus, there is a legitimate interest in collecting data pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR
To detect attacks, STRATO stores non-anonymized IP addresses for a maximum of seven days. After that, they are irrevocably anonymized. Customers – like myself as the operator of the website trendsketcher.de – can view IP addresses exclusively and permanently anonymously. It is therefore not possible for me to identify you as an individual user of my website.
I’ve signed a contract processing contract with Strato.
Use of “cookies”
This website uses a single cookie that is stored on your computer when you close the banner that informs about this privacy statement. This cookie remembers for a day that you have closed the banner. After one day the cookie loses its validity. Otherwise, this website does not use cookies (neither first-time nor third-party cookies)
Integration of services and contents of third parties
It may happen that contents or services of third-party providers, such as fonts from other websites or videos, are integrated within our online offer. The inclusion of content from third-party providers always requires that the third-party providers perceive the IP address of the users, since they could not send the content to the users’ browser without the IP address. The IP address is therefore required for the presentation of this content. Furthermore, providers of third-party content can set their own cookies and process users’ data for their own purposes. In the process, user profiles can be created from the processed data. We will use this content in a preferably data-saving and data-avoiding manner and will select reliable third-party providers with regard to data security.
The following presentation provides an overview of third-party providers as well as their contents, as well as links to their privacy statements, which contain further notes on the processing of data and contradictory possibilities (so-called opt-out):
– External fonts from Google, Inc., https://www.google.com/fonts (“Google Fonts”). The integration of Google fonts is done by a server call on Google (usually in the US). Privacy Policy: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/.
